Herrick Hall String Ensemble Benefit Concert a Success!

The Herrick Hall String Ensemble held a Benefit Concert on Sunday, May 3rd in the beautiful sanctuary of the Granville United Church.  The group played music from many parts of the world, including Afghanistan.  The concert was recorded and will be shared with the students and teachers of the Afghan National Institute of Music.  We learned from Nadine Moehlenkamp, music director of the concert, that $350 is enough to pay for tuition at the school for one year.  The group was able to raise enough money to provide tuition for two students!
Donations are still being accepted.  If you would like to help support the Herrick Hall ensemble’s efforts, please make your check payable to “Denison University” and write “ANIM” on the memo line.  Your studio teacher will make sure the check gets to Brian Flynn.
